RCRD’s work has been recognized both nationally and internationally for its leadership and contributions to disability inclusion. Some of our key recognitions include:
- Founder and Coordinator of National CBR Network: RCRD was nominated as the founding national coordinator of the CBR National Network in 1997-1998 and is also a member of the South Asian CBR Network. The organization received a Certificate of Appreciation for this contribution in 2024.
- Partner of National Federation of Disabled Nepal (NFDN): Since 1997, RCRD has been a close partner and advisor to NFDN, helping strengthen its capacity as the national umbrella organization for persons with disabilities.
- Recognized by the Ministry of Women, Children, and Social Welfare (MOWCSC): RCRD has been recognized as a consultant organization and was awarded various projects to strengthen CBR programs in Nepal from 2001 to 2016.
- Contributor to Inclusive Education: The Center for Education and Human Resource Development (CEHRD) recognized RCRD’s contributions to inclusive education by awarding a Certificate of Appreciation.
- International Recognition: RCRD has received fellowships from the governments of Australia and South Korea for its work in inclusive education, further highlighting its international standing.
- CBR Training and Resource Center: RCRD is recognized as a leading center for CBR training and inclusive education for various organizations, including government agencies, INGOs, CSOs, and DPOs from all 77 districts of Nepal.
