During the visit, Mr. Kirtan Shrestha Duwal, RCRD's MEAL officer, organized meetings with Save the Saptari's project team, discussed the challenges and issues faced by the partners, and facilitated to find the suitable solutions. He also took the opportunity to lead a session on the roles and responsibilities of the Disability Coordination Committee (established under the local government as per the provision of Disability Rights Act 2017) for its members. Mr. Duwal visited students with disabilities enrolled in the School-At-Home program and provided recommendations to the project team for further improvement of their learning environment. Additionally, he inspected some shortlisted model schools, met with community mobilizers (CMs), and engaged in discussions with them. During these interactions, he addressed their questions and offered new tips for conducting community awareness sessions.

The project, INTPA, is being implemented with financial support from the European Union (EU) and under the leadership of Save the Children International (SCI). As the implementing partners, Save the Saptari, NNSWA-Sudurpaschim, and RCRD are jointly working on this initiative in a consortium approach  to promote inclusive and quality education for marginalized children, including those with disabilities, in Karnali, Sudurpaschim, and Madhesh provinces. RCRD serves as the resource organization, providing technical support to ensure disability inclusion in project activities and strengthening the capacity of partners in this area. Mr. Duwal was accompanied during the visit by Ms. Tehzeeb (MEAL Officer) and Mr. Rambinaya Kumar Yadav (Education Officer) from Save the Saptari's project team.
