Our goal is to equip individuals and institutions with the tools they need to contribute meaningfully to creating a society that values and includes people with disabilities and all.
We believe that fact-based data and information are crucial for policymakers and planners to develop effective policies and plans that enhance the rights, opportunities, and services available to persons with disabilities. To support this, we conduct research and studies on various disability-specific issues. Our goal is to provide policymakers and planners with essential data and insights, while also sharing our findings with stakeholders and the general public.
Advocacy is a powerful tool for amplifying the voices of rights and driving meaningful change. It plays a vital role in shaping policies and ensuring their effective implementation. At RCRD, we lead advocacy campaigns with government institutions and policymakers to introduce new disability-specific policies, improve existing ones, and ensure their proper enforcement to uphold the rights of persons with disabilities. These campaigns are often conducted under RCRD’s leadership or in collaboration with Organizations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs). Additionally, we provide technical support to OPDs to conduct advocacy campaigns at the local level, empowering them to champion disability rights effectively.
